Weight: 168lbs
This thing is going to work. I have to believe that eating these small meals and staying active will ultimately get me to my goal. I'm in a better state of mind now than I have been a long while so I feel optimistic that I will be able to reach my goals more surely.
Tomorrow at 10am, I have a meeting with a manager here at the Gap in Boston. I worked at the Gap in Pittsburgh (where I go to college) and so I'll be able to see if they have any openings for me here. I'm taking a semester off, spending time in boston to refocus, recalibrate and reevaluate myself in terms of what I want to do with my life and my future; I need to be making money on the side just to sustain my needs. Especially since my dad lost his job in this economic downturn and I need to be as independent as possible (while still living with my parents :D ).
Both my parents are on a diet (they're doing South Beach) and that makes things easier at home. Plus with my little brother going to college, we will have tons and tons of healthy options here at home. I'm going grocery shopping in a lil' bit and will be sure to pick up some good stuff to bring home considering there is NO food at home.
Ok onto today's eats:
12pm: 1 cup tea, 1 apple and 1 biscuit (~300 calories)
3pm: 1 yogurt (120), 1 slice bread with 1 oz chedder cheese and some pastrami (180)
6pm/9pm: some curry and rice (300), a biscuit, coffee and some spoon fudge (300)
12am/late night: 3 Organic Dark Chocolate cookies (150 cals), 1 cup tea (100 cals), 1 bowl thai soup with broth, mushrooms, green peppers, onions etc. (130 cals)
Yesterday's physical activity didn't happen. And today I'm meeting friends for coffee etc. And I"m getting a haircut. So I'll be unpacking my boxes etc. But I doubt that the whole excercise thing will happen today in the form of workout-ing. So I will do some dancing and stuff. But stay tuned for tomorrow to have some sort of formal workout.
